<I had several asks about this song. This is my response for all of them.>

He's gonna set you alight with his pretty, pretty words.

You can try to resist, but his voice is so enticing... why would you want to?

If any song is a siren's call, it's this one.

If you're still fighting the seduction after reading the lyrics, his breathless, almost ritual recitation of

will surely render you helpless.

The staccato delivery of those lines, repeated with increasing urgency, will brand his words into your soul.

He presses the words into you like kisses.

And just in case you didnt get the sultry vibes he already laid down, he couples those sensual words with a Latin rhythm, flowing over an afrobeat baseline like a warm wind on a hot summer night.

You don't think he chose the rhythms by accident do you?

Jimin tells you in a way only a dancer can tell you, he knows what he's doing.

He doesn't have to think. His body knows how to move.

The sex is tangible.

Light and feathery, then fast and hard, he switches it up and down like he's playing cat and mouse...

His voice is everywhere, surrounding you, pressing in relentlessly. Layers and layers of him, rasping, calling, yearning, gasping in your ear. it's overwhelming.

And then...

You resurface to an almost gentle refrain of

as his voice slowly fades out.

A bang, a crash, and suddenly hes gone, leaving you a smouldering wreck.

Its over?

But you want more.

You want it again.

That's why this song is on repeat.

Jimin, I love you. In a very platonic, I wish I was your friend, older sibling, or mom kind of way. Which is why I have been streaming your stuff non stop and feeling super confused about this compulsion (for the first time in my life) to spend ENERGY to support someone’s streams because I care so much. My 40+ year old self is very surprised by this new experience. But grateful I am not alone.

What's your favorite songs from Muse?

@chikooritajjk asked me about my favorite song from Muse (after Who of course) and I spent WAY too much time trying to figure out the answer to that question.

Since I spent so long thinking about it, here's my thoughts on Muse for anyone that is interested :)

I love every song on Muse for very different reasons because each song has it's own charm. I've been streaming the album non stop and I keep expecting to get tired of it. But I realized I am missing other songs more than I am getting tired of these ones. And every time I think I might not want to listen to the next Muse song on my playlist... if I don't skip it right away, the song sucks me in and I end up listening to it.

My feelings about each song:

Rebirth - Major love. The mood and feel of it really feels like an awakening.

Smeraldo Garden Marching Band - This is the song I never knew I needed in my life. I am always surprised by how much I love this song. It is so cute and different from something I would usually listen to, but it sucks me in every time and makes me smile inside and out.

Slow Dance - Smooth, fun vibe and I love their voices together.

Be Mine - Makes me want to dance, so I love it. It's my second favorite on the album because it makes me want to dance.

Who - Who is by far my favorite song on the album. Everything about that song makes me want to crank up the volume and sing along... loudly. I have had way too much fun blasting Who while driving and I never get tired of listening to it. Plus, Jimin's voice in this song is everything. I can't get over it and this different sound I hadn't expected from him.

Closer Than This - Pure love and nostalgia. This song feels like Jimin to me and I love that.

I love this album and am really enjoying it (keep streaming!!!). But even if Be Mine is my second favorite on this album, it isn't my second favorite song by Jimin (and Who is not my number one). Face holds a special place in my heart and it will be hard for anything to dethrone those songs for me. Even when I was just discovering BTS and barely had a grasp on anything, the songs on Face really got ahold of me. They are emotional and raw and I love them so so much. All that being said, I love hearing this much happier and lighter music from Jimin. I truly hope he is happy and Muse gives me so much hope for him.
